Aimed at building confidence and self esteem, this recording uses the idea of the mind as a computer, and encourages the child to change any unhelpful programs and outdated messages into more positive ones. Lynda uses the power of the child's imagination through the use of relaxation, metaphorical stories and fantasies where the child is encouraged to mentally act out positive solutions to a problem. The best time to listen is usually as the child relaxes before going to sleep. Listening to the recording should be additional to, and not in place of, any normal bedtime reading or listening.
