Lynda helps your child relax while they listen to general information about their forthcoming hospital procedure or operation. They also receive gentle yet powerful suggestions for coping with the visit calmly and confidently

Children say that they really enjoyed relaxing and at the same time receiving clear and reassuring information about routine hospital procedures ­ even down to the funny clothes and hats the doctors may be wearing for the operation

They use their imagination creatively as they, for example, breathe in the colour of calm and breathe out the colour of worries. This not only relaxes them at the time of listening but also gives them a way to stay calm and happy in the unfamiliar hospital environment

We also recommend taking the CD into hospital with them so they can use it for extra calm and relaxation while they are there
